Though I am finding the content quite interesting, I would have bought a used paperback for less than I spent on the Kindle version, and saved myself the frustration of trying to see what is in the charts. A content plus, the video links provided with the purchase allow you to see examples in actual classrooms, and there seems to be a fair balance of different grade levels represented. I have only watched a few so far, and I haven't finished the book yet, so this is not a complete review. The ideas in this book are not ground-shaking, but they are sound and harken back to the good old days of traditional teaching techniques. The idea of reading and writing go hand-in-hand resonates throughout the entire book.
